Built in 2003, this 343,000 SF academic building is the largest on WMU’s campus. The $72.5 million high-tech building features two, 600 ft long two-story brick wings united by a central glass common space. The facility houses computer teaching labs, 75 research and teaching laboratories, flexible classrooms and lecture spaces and small group areas for student break-out sessions. The entire project including site work, parking deck construction, telecommunications infrastructure, and relocation of services from the existing engineering building cost $99 million.
