The Seasons is the private retreat center of the Fetzer Institute. As part of their mission to help build the spiritual foundation for a loving world, the Fetzer Institute offers in-kind use of its retreat center, Seasons, to 501(c)(3) nonprofits based in Kalamazoo County.

Materials from the Great Lakes Basin including limestone, copper, cedar, pine and cherry woods were used in its construction, which is modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie style.  Environmentally conscious construction methods left minimal disturbance to the site’s original topography thus lending a close-to-nature feel to the working environment of those who visit.
