Influenced by Modernist, Post-Modern, and Vernacular Styles, the 750,000 SF hospital facility, completed in 2000, is an example of a large building that is organized through a series of smaller volumes. These smaller components allow it to relate well to the size of residential and small commercial neighbors along with the traditional materials, stone and brick. The masonry, used throughout the structure, is complemented by the curved glass walls, the central atrium and garden.
